Thailands annual harvest

At this time of the year, we are busy

Harvesting the rice on the farm

Cutting and putting into bundles

Ready for the rice to be separated

The picture below illustrates how it would have been done years ago

Before machines took over

It's very hard work

Kung my wife and the family work very hard, often 13 hrs a day

But they do get a chance to rest

Stopping to eat chicken and sticky rice

And water

The people of Thailand are friendly happy and hardworking

Hope to be returning home soon
